College copyright licenses
All use of copyright materials must be in accordance with the College's Copyright Licences, and copyright law including the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 and subsequent amending legislation, the EU Copyright Directive 2001/29/EC, implemented in the UK in 2003. See College Regulation 16.
The College holds the following licences (links open a new browser window):
- Higher Education UUK/GuildHE Photocopying and Scanning Licence from the Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA): A list of exclusions can be found near all photocopiers in the College, and from the CLA 'Excluded Works' section.
- Newspaper Licencing Agency (NLA) Licence
- Designers and Artists' Copyright Society (DACS) Slide Collection Licence
- Educational Recording Agency (ERA) Licence
