The following links include those to UK Government Departments and related organisations responsible for subject areas of interest to Goldsmiths staff/students. They include access to the full text of many UK official publications.
- Directgov : UK government website - links to central and local government websites. Can be used to find departments not listed individually below.
- Department for Business, Innovation and Skills - this department includes FE and HE, formerly responsibilities of the Department for Education and Skills.
- Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS)
- Department for Education - formerly the Department for Education and Skills. This site provides an index to DFE publications, many of which can be downloaded. The site also provides information about government policy on education, the National Curriculum, OFSTED, statistics and standards.
- Department of Health - almost all the material now published by the Department of Health is available in electronic format from this website.

- Ministry of Justice - covers all areas of criminal, civil, family and administrative law.
- Office for National Statistics - the official UK statistics site, includes economic indicators, population estimates and a comprehensive range of statistics and information about statistics.
- Parliament - Official UK parliament web site.
- UK National Statistics - UK statistics site for government departments.
- BOPCRIS - British Official Publications Collaborative Reader Information Service. Search and browse information from British Official Publications over the period 1688-1995.
- CasWeb - provides access to census data. Site registration and personal account required.
- Hansard - House of Commons debates
- Hansard - House of Lords debates
- Legislation.gov.uk - Web site managed by the National Archives on behalf of the Ministry of Justice. Combines former OPSI site and Statute Law Database, and includes full text of UK legislation.
- Official Documents - TSO web site, with full text of selected command papers, House of Commons papers and key departmental papers.
