Judy Holland has a background as an editor, novelist and scriptwriter. She co-ordinates the undergraduate creative writing provision (script and prose fiction) and convenes a course for MA students called Narrative in Practice. She is also the director of Media/Academic Partners (MAP), which works with media training bodies in partner-countries to raise training standards for local media professionals. Her research interests include adaptation and Ethiopian history.
