What you can study

Article

The Department of Music warmly welcomes international (non-EU) applicants.

We offer a friendly and stimulating environment for our international students in a city that is not only one of the great musical centres of the world, but also one its most successful and diverse multicultural capitals.

There are plenty of opportunities for musical performance here at Goldsmiths, as well as a range of outlets for creative work, such as our superbly equipped Electronic Music Studios.

Although we expect you to be competent in the English language, we nevertheless work closely with the English Language Centre to ensure that you continue to get the right kind of support for your studies while you are with us.

If you have any questions and would like to get in touch with the department, please e-mail music (@gold.ac.uk).

You can be admitted as either an undergraduate or graduate student.

International Foundation Certificate in Music

This one year programme gives students the opportunity to develop their English language, become familiar with UK academic culture, and prepare to study for a BMus in Music or Popular Music.
