"I wanted to reflect on what it meant to have a curatorial practice outside of an institutional context"

Main details

Year graduated 2006
Department Art
Programme MFA Curating

"Having studied Fine Art at undergraduate level, I subsequently specialised in producing context specific commissions, working closely with artists including Stephen Willats, Superflex, Nick Crowe, Kristin Lucas and Dias & Riedweg at FACT (Foundation for Art & Creative Technology) in Liverpool.

I came to Goldsmiths in 2005/6, choosing the MFA Curating course for a number of reasons: I wanted to reflect on what it meant to have a curatorial practice outside of an institutional context, to reconnect with debates in contemporary theory, and to develop as a writer."
