I was born in France but grew up in the United States for my father's job. I attended an international school when I returned to France and after graduating in 2009 I decided to study in London to continue being immersed in an international environment. I did my BA at the London College of Communications (University of the Arts) in Media and Cultural studies. I took a module in Travelling Cultures which I greatly enjoyed as I love travelling and meeting people from all over the world, as well as learning about another nation's heritage.

This led me to enrol in the MA Cultural Policy and Tourism at Goldsmiths which I started in September 2014; this was a wonderful experience. Goldsmiths is a friendly and welcoming environment where all students can find their place. The tourism MA enhanced my desire to work in a environment where communication, travel and culture intermingle. Working on the dissertation with my friends was a very interesting process as everyone wrote about what they were passionate about, and I truly retrieved each person's identity in their work. I wrote about the authenticity of food tourism in Rome, which then led me to get an internship (followed by a permanent position as sales executive) at Bellini Travel, a travel agency specialising in bespoke holidays all over Italy.

I believe the MA Cultural Policy and Tourism is excellent for students of all backgrounds; it approaches many different subjects and aims at giving insight in a plethora of countries' strategies and cultural projects.
