U3A South East London
This is the local branch of U3A (University of the Third Age) based at Goldsmiths and affiliated to the national ‘Third Age Trust’. The U3A movement exists to promote education in its widest sense among older people largely through daytime self-help study groups. U3A (South East London) members meet at Goldsmiths, some libraries, St Mary’s Centre in Eltham and in private houses. The programme includes Art, Discussion, Languages, Gardening, Social and Environmental Studies and also features general lectures and meetings, visits, walks and social activities. No qualifications are required and none are given.
Annual subscription from 1st April 2012 will be £18.
