The covering letter should be in English if Spanish is your mother-tongue, or in Spanish if your first language is not Spanish.

This course would be appropriate if you are just looking for a short, initial teacher-training course to teach Spanish. This Preparing to Teach (PTLLS) module is offered in collaboration with the London Instituto Cervantes (http://londres. cervantes.es) and it takes place at the Cervantes premises in central London. There are currently three part-time Saturday courses throughout the year, and two intensive courses, in June and September. It is focused specifically towards teaching Spanish as a foreign language – half the sessions are taught in Spanish. If you successfully complete this course you can apply to continue with the rest of the CLTA programme (Modules 2 and 3) starting the following January, places permitting.
