Building on the skills acquired in Writing Culture, and your knowledge of biography as a literary genre, you will complete an independent writing project. It will explore your own cultural inheritance by focusing on the life story of a family member using research and the techniques of creative non-fiction to produce a sustained biographical narrative. You must have successfully completed Writing Culture to take this course.
