Intended for those studying on the BA (Hons) in Social & Cultural Studies, this course focuses on research and evidencing skills. We look at research methods and study skills in cultural studies and social sciences; research project design; research technologies; information retrieval; developing evidencing techniques. There is a strong element of self-course design in the degree. This course provides support and advice to help you find a route through the degree that will meet your personal interests, career interests and long-term goals. Assessment is by a portfolio, which will include a research project, designed and produced individually.
