Instead of teaching just language, this new course aims to teach Spanish with, and through, film studies, based around 8-10 recent Spanish and Latin American films – comedies, thrillers, dramas and romances. The course will be taught wholly in Spanish, and is suitable for those of intermediate level and above. You will improve your Spanish and learn more about this vigorous area of foreign cinema. This is a non-credit-bearing course, so it is not assessed and will not lead to a formal award.
