About the department:
Politics

It focuses on both Britain and international issues, with a special emphasis on the way in which the idea of ‘risk’ plays a role in politics and policy. It is particularly designed for those who would like to work in areas where an understanding of politics and policy is necessary, such as the media or the civil service, as well as researchers and political assistants. The MA offers the option of practical experience through an internship, and political communications courses run by the Department of Media and Communications.

This course is available from September 2010.
