Media Futures

Short credit-bearing course that can lead to an MA in Professional Media Practice

The only way to predict the future is to invent it…

Join the debate on ways that media will develop in the future, and learn how future media practices can be used to maximise business opportunities. After this course you will have a greater understanding of business planning and finance, current and future policy and Intellectual Property (IP), as well as the skills and confidence required to launch your own business. A series of keynote speakers will present their personal histories, thus demonstrating the opportunities presented by the ever-changing media landscape.

But that’s not all - with this course you have the option of gaining Master’s level (M) credits, which you can use to build your own tailored postgraduate qualification.

This is part of a new range of Skillset short courses, providing continuing professional development and offering postgraduate credits towards an award. They can be taken individually or in combination with a tailored selection of other courses across the Skillset Media Academy Network to achieve a recognised qualification, ranging from a Postgraduate Certificate to a Master's degree.
