Full time MA Art and Politics students launch project 47
Project 47 is produced collectively by the full-time MA students as part of the practice based element of the MA Art and Politics 2009-2010. Project 47 aims to be a 'democratic' and 'agonistic' space where a group of 19 people have engaged in building meaning within and between the disciplines of art and politics. In the space of project 47 the students have expressed and contested diverse ideas, concepts and methods. The work does not aim to be cohesive and coherent; it aims to remain adversarial rather than antagonistic. It is hoped that a more authentic dialogue and a more productive engagement will be achieved by leaving difference unresolved.
