Goldsmiths joins Universities Week 2011 – What’s The Big Idea?
Universities Week 2011 (13-19 June) will be the second time universities have joined together to showcase the work they do and the benefits of a higher education.
With the recent increase in tuition fees, it is even more important to demonstrate the important place universities – and their students and graduates – play in the world.
The campaign, coordinated by Universities UK, will champion the influence universities across the UK have had on local and national economies, culture, sport, health, the environment and much more.
As part of the week, Goldsmiths will be hosting a number of events as well as showcasing examples of how higher education has had a positive impact on its graduates.
It is also an opportunity to showcase the world-class research currently being undertaken by academics and students at Goldsmiths - click here to see our latest Research Documentaries.
