Research Interests:

I focus on family processes important for children’s socio-emotional development, mental health and wellbeing. I'm particularly interested in understanding parent-child and sibling relationships, often -- but not exclusively! -- using behavioural genetic designs (e.g. twin studies) to understand nature-nurture interplay. I'm also interested in prevention and intervention through family relationships, and have varied experience, including with child and family practioners as well as in basic science.

Academic Qualifications and Affiliations

I am Module Coordinator for Personality and Individual Differences (Y2), and a contributing lecturer on Developmental Psychology (Y2).
