AHRC Fellowships in the creative and performing arts

The Fellowships in the Creative and Performing Arts scheme aims to support artists* as research fellows within a research environment. It provides for the salary of the fellow and associated costs. Fellowships can be held for either 2 or 3 years full time, or for five years at either 0.4 or 0.6 FTE.

* By artists, the AHRC is referring to visual artists, performers, musicians, creative writers, poets, and other producers of original creative work.

Since 1 September 2005, all proposals to AHRC Schemes must be prepared on the basis of the full economic costs (fEC) of the research. We strongly recommend that applicants liaise with their research/ finance office about the full economic costs of their proposal well before the deadline.

The next closing date for proposal to the AHRC Fellowships in the Creative and Performing Arts will be 4pm on Thursday 27th September 2007.
