Research funding
To gain College authorisation to submit your Research Application you are required to provide the Research Office with your complete proposal two weeks before the application deadline.
To plan for success with your research proposal contact the Research Development Officer, Justin Davin-Smith as early as possible so that the Research Office can provide you with full support for your application
If you are interested in taking a PhD or other postgraduate course please do not contact the Research Office. Instead you should contact the Graduate School who will be able to help with your queries.
The team will:
- help identify organisations who might provide funding for your research interests
- provide advice on proposal writing and current research priorities
- guide you through application-form filling and electronic application submission
- offer an application checking service to ensure your proposal has met all funder requirements before being submitted
- advise on ethical approval, intellectual property rights and commercial potential
Where to find funding
For useful sources of funding the office recommends that you consult the online database provided by ResearchProfessional.
