Goldsmiths' Research Strategy 2010-2014 is designed to recognise the excellence of what has been achieved over the past decade, and to build on these achievements so as to enhance: Goldsmiths' international reputation and position in national and global markets; staff recruitment, satisfaction and retention; teaching reflecting the very latest research; income through HEFCE research funding, research grants and commercialisation; postgraduate expansion; and contribution to society, by furthering understanding and knowledge transfer, demonstrating the impact of the arts, humanities and social sciences in the cultural life and economy of the country.

Safeguarding Good Academic and Scientific Practice and Dealing with Allegations of Misconduct In Research
This policy aims to ensure that College research practice is of the highest quality and integrity. The policy is divided into two sections:

  • The Principles of Good Academic and Scientific Research Practice
  • Procedures for Dealing with Allegations of Academic and Scientific Misconduct

Both sections should be read by all academic and contract research staff and adhered to before undertaking research within the College.
