Sports at Goldsmiths

Loring Sports Ground (Water Lane, off North Cray Lane, Sidcup, Kent. DA14 5EJ)

Goldsmiths Sports Ground is located about 30 minutes drive away from College, and is the home ground for Goldsmiths men and women's Football, Rugby and Cricket teams.

Loring Hall Sports Ground (the Hall of Residence near Campus is named after an older Hall originally sited at the Sports Ground) has provision for 3 Football teams, and 1 Rugby team in the Winter season, and currently 1 Cricket square in the Summer season.

There are men and women's Changing Rooms sufficient for the ground at full capacity, and there is also a small pavilion. The pitches themselves are amongst the best in the region and are in constant demand from external teams. The pitches are tended to by a full-time grounds-man.

Loring Ground is available for casual use by College students and staff (the staff Cricket team usually enjoys an outing or two over the Summer!), and available for external hire.
