Table tennis, badminton & basketball

The College has various equipment available for staff and student casual use in the Lockwood Building Gym hall.

If you would like to use the table-tennis tables, please do the following:

  1. Check available times and book the Gym Hall at least 36hrs prior to the desired session.
  2. Wait for your email confirmation
  3. Go to the Students? Union reception between 10am-4pm, Mon-Fri, to collect a key for the tables, plus bats/balls/nets if you need them
  4. The S.U. will require to see your college I.D. card, and for you to sign a form against the safe return of these items
  5. The Tables are stored in the 'Bunker' storage area in the Gym hall; if you have not had occasion to use the storage area before, please ensure you make this clear at the time of booking, so you can be issued with the current access code.
  6. Play table-tennis!

If you would like to use the badminton posts, please do the following:

  1. Check available times and book the Gym Hall at least 36hrs prior to the desired session.
  2. Wait for your email confirmation
  3. The Posts are stored in the 'Bunker' storage area in the Gym hall; if you have not had occasion to use the storage area before, please ensure you make this clear at the time of booking, so you can be issued with the current access code.
  4. You will require your own racquets, shuttles and net.
  5. If you don't have your own racquets, shuttles or net, you can borrow these items from the Students? Union reception between 10am-4pm, Mon-Fri. The S.U. will require to see your college I.D. card, and for you to sign a form against the safe return of these items.
  6. Play badminton!

If you would like to play basketball, please do the following:

  1. Check available times and book the Gym Hall at least 36hrs prior to the desired session.
  2. Wait for your email confirmation
  3. If you don't have your own ball, you can borrow one from the Students? Union reception between 10am-4pm, Mon-Fri. The S.U. will require to see your college I.D. card, and for you to sign a form against the safe return of these items.
  4. Play basketball!
