Limore Racin holds a Ph.D. in Cross-Cultural Psychology from University College London, UK (UCL) and obtained further training in Global Mental Health, Trauma & Recovery (Harvard University). As an applied psychologist she has done extensive mental health research throughout different villages of former war-zones in central Mozambique and ethnographic studies throughout Israel. She conducts international consultancies mainly in applied research and in capacity building projects related to mental health, culture, and public health. Currently, she lectures in Psychoanalysis and Culture, Trauma, and  Cinema and Psychoanalysis, and is also a therapist at MIND, a mental health charity.
