Facilitated by the Human Resources Department
The purpose of staff development is:
- to help Goldsmiths staff at all levels and in all roles to do their jobs more effectively and to enhance their job satisfaction
- to make a significant contribution to the strategic development of the College
- to ‘join up’ and support staff development initiatives across the College
Staff Development contributes to Goldsmiths’ Mission and Values. Staff Development also contributes to Goldsmiths’ strategic aims.
The Staff Development Team in Human Resources works closely with other internal staff development partners including:
- Goldsmiths Learning Enhancement Unit

- Goldsmiths Administrators Forum (GAF)
- Health and Safety
- Information Technology Services
- Quality Office
- Research Office and Graduate School
