Human Resources is reviewing and/or rewriting all of Goldsmiths HR policies and as part of this initiative, we are introducing a series of regular HR Policy Briefings for those who manage others. To date, successfully approved by Council is the new Performance & Development Review (PDR) policy, the Probation policy and a Dignity at Work policy. The next policies lined up to complete the process of consultation and approval are the Grievance, Disciplinary and Redundancy policies.

The HR Business Partner teams will be taking turns to organise and deliver the HR Policy Briefings. Using realistic case studies and discussion, participants will explore how these policies can be implemented in practice to help support you in managing performance and motivation in your department. The briefings will include the following policies:
