The rotation of the earth within its orbit gives the impression that the sun rises and falls each day, generating a basic unit of time. This project communicates the passage of time within this unit by mediation of the sun between source and user in two contexts.

A colour dial is sited in an urban park setting (i.e. a communal space) so that people can experience time as a sequence of colours.
