Plastic: Capturing the invisible.

Plastic, once a rich and exciting matter that defined a generation, has constantly undergone changing perceptions in the public’s eyes for years. Initially described as ‘a miracle’, a remarkable new invention, a necessity in every household and a creative influence for many artists, it suddenly became a threat to the environment. I do truly believe, however, that plastic has undiscovered potential and is able to transform its chemical composition and re-vitalise itself. The aim of this project is to install life into what is seen as an inanimate material through various energies such us heat, light and movement.
