Through the observation of Culinary Rituals of other cultures, we often see that dining is not as simple as it may seem. Hidden meanings and functionalities lie behind the actions and behaviour contained in eating rituals. Through the exploration and amplification of these rituals, the introduction kits aim to deliver an unconscious experience of taking part in the eating rituals of other cultures; using one’s hands to eat (Persian) and slurping noodles (Japanese) in a fun and indirect manner.
