eXo

eXo is an exoskeleton suit that hydraulically resists movement; giving a feeling of moving through water. It is used for training athletes and sports enthusiasts at achieving higher levels of core strength by allowing them to effectively apply resistance training to their specific sports while improving their techniques and skills at the same time.

eXo implements research that suggests that hydraulic resistance training not only improves performance by a recorded 7-7.5%, but also increases muscle density and bone density, improves heart efficiency, lung capacity, stamina, strength and speed and helps reduce body fat, which in turn also helps to reduce the effect of aging.

The suit works by using an array of resistive components on every range of movement the body has. Using two systems, one to resist major movements and one for minor movements.
