At Goldsmiths you'll be part of a diverse student community. You'll meet new people who'll become your friends for life, and there's so much for you to get involved with outside of your studies, including the Erasmus scheme which enables you to live in a European city for part of your degree.

‌There's no typical student experience at Goldsmiths. When you’re not studying, take your pick from some of the great things happening on campus, in the local area, and in Central London to help you get the most from life at Goldsmiths.

Watch our video from Welcome Week 2013 for a taste of what it's like to be a Fresher here.

For a lot of students, living in halls is what makes the student experience in their first year.

All of our halls of residence are within walking distance of the campus, with most less than 5 minutes away.

What our students say

Daniel, Goldsmiths student

"The atmosphere in the university is excellent. There's a very youthful and vibrant feel that permeates throughout Goldsmiths. There's an unwritten rule around respecting each other within the uni and I've never seen anything but a positive vibe in Goldsmiths.

During my time at Goldsmiths I took part in football, basketball, and jujitsu. I've also been able to attend different activities ranging from fashion shows, to debates with politicians.

Goldsmiths is one choice that I will never regret. The things that I have experienced and learned will always be looked on fondly."
