This bag will be tied closed and placed under the candidate’s chair and should not be touched until you leave the examination hall. Please note that if you leave the venue before the end of the examination you will not be able to collect your bag and coat until the examination has finished so please try to bring only essential items with you. Results
Your results will be sent by post to your home address. Please ensure that we have the correct address for you as duplicate transcripts will not be provided.
NB: Because of data protection, it is not possible for Assessments staff to give out results over the telephone, by fax or e-mail.
The Assessments Section will be closed to telephone and personal callers during the main results processing period to avoid delays in publishing results. Students will be able to access their final classification or progression decision for continuing students on the web by inputting their user login and password after the dates published in the handbook. Transcripts will be posted to all students by 1 August 2012; please do not make enquiries regarding their receipt before this date. The Assessments Team will process and post results as soon as they possibly can.

Goldsmiths Disabled Students Campaign
A small group of disabled students are getting together to plan an awareness campaign. This will focus on issues concerning facilities for dyslexic students as well as attitudes towards mental health. The group would like as many students as possible to get involved and they will also be seeking Student Union involvement.
For more details, and to join the campaign please email me Barry Hayward, Disability Coordinator, b.hayward@gold.ac.uk
Childcare Bursary - a success!
Childcare Bursary
We are pleased to announce the success of the Childcare Bursary ventured this academic year 2011/12. The Bursary was aimed to provide assistance with childcare costs for existing students at Goldsmiths, both Home/EU and International students, provided that they were using a registered childcare provider.
Due to such high interest / demands of this scheme, we were able to offer financial support to a considerable amount of students towards their childcare costs which in turn provided our students with financial peace of mind, enabling them to focus more on their studies.
However, we have to announce that due to the enormous success of the fund, the Childcare Bursary has now been exhausted; therefore, the fund is now closed.
We hope to administrate a similar level of support to students for the next academic year subject to funds being available.
