Childcare Bursary

Exhausted Funds

Scheme closed for 2011-12

Due to a high volume of applications to the Childcare Bursary scheme, we regret to inform you that we have now exhausted all monies from this fund. Therefore the fund is now closed for this academic year.

The Childcare Bursary scheme offers financial support to students using formal childcare whilst they are on a programme of study.

If your childcare provider is Ofsted registered, you can apply for this bursary to help with your childcare costs. NB: Bursaries are not given to help pay for informal childcare. The scheme is available to existing as well as new Home, EU and International students. If successful you will receive a bursary of up to £400 for each child up to the age of 11 years.

How to Apply in 2012-13

Application packs for 2012-13 should be downloaded electronically once the documents are available. The links for downloading the application packs will be made available on this page during the summer vacation. If you are unable to download an application pack, you can visit the Student Centre, RHB 117, from the beginning of the Autumn Term, and a member of staff can print a pack for you.
