Want to find out more; roll over a question below
Why TERU? OUR RESEARCH CENTRES ON understanding how design & technology works in schools; how to encourage learners towards creative interventions that improve the made world; and how to help teachers to support that process.
How we do it? We work with teachers and learners to understand and enrich their practice. Our approach is innovative and quirky, as we encourage them to do likewise.
Where we do it? The focus of our research is typically in schools (5-18) in the UK and across all five continents (Africa/America/Asia/Australia/Europe)
What we do? Helping students' creative intervention in the made world; and helping teachers to support that process .... involves us in developing the curriculum at many levels (approaches to learning & teaching, techniques for assessing & examining, priorities for policy-making)
Who its for? Our clients range from planners & policy-makers to producers & publishers. To inform our work we invariably work in schools with teachers & learners.
WE CONDUCT A GREAT DEAL of our research in classrooms, directly dealing with students and teachers. We then turn this research into reports, some of which are available from this site.
