“Having undertaken both undergraduate and post-graduate studies at Goldsmiths I was encouraged to really open my ideas as to what progressive contemporary performance practice can entail and, using strong frameworks both academic and practical, I was able to engage within a most vibrant and expanding creative and cultural community. My work as a cross-disciplined live, performance and theatre artist often challenges themes of absence, the individual and relationships built in collaboration. My pieces often engage with visual art practices and discuss ideas of that which is ephemeral and that which is product. Working through academic research methods, I believe in constant learning and development encouraging the progression of arts through education and experience. Contextualising and framing my work plays hand in hand with personal development and expression”.
