Europe and Africa in Britain: Re-thinking Approaches to Cultural Diversity in Writing for Performance
The aim of the practice-led research projects in Europe and Africa in Britain is to involve writing, dramaturgy, networking, cross-cultural collaboration and critical reflection in exploring strategies and processes for new writing and performance that can speak to the mobility and cultural diversity of contemporary society.
Co-ordinating, creating and evaluating collaborations, critical exchanges and learning between sets of culturally diverse practitioners in Europe and Africa, the projects are intended to contribute to the development of well-founded, cross-cultural approaches to new work and the growth of culturally diverse performance practice in Britain.
