Course overview

Goldsmiths has a strong focus towards cities, communities and the built environment throughout the institution.

Even without the presence of a dedicated Geography department, countless members of staff and student incoporate the spatial element within their departments, research and study. Their particular expertise, work and interest in architecture, design and urban form is what truly makes this an interdisciplinary approach and constantly questions the notion of what constitutes 'Urban' around us and how it evolves.

Gasket is a photographic collective formed of four Goldsmiths alumni. They have used their experiences on the programme to form a group which has led to various exhibitions, events and workshops around the UK.
