What kinds of exams will I have to take?
All exams are by essay/long report. There are no unseen papers. ‘Practice’ is only assessed by the final film (20 minutes) although there are several unassessed, short films to be made during the course of the training sessions. All assessed work is marked by two internal (to the Department) and at least one external examiner. The examination system is very formal and students who fail to complete/pass courses in one academic session will typically be required to re-submit the work in the following academic session (year).
