What sort of equipment is available?
The Department is well-equipped with 3chip digital camcorders (mainly Canon XM2 at the moment) and ancillary equipment (mics, etc.). There are two dedicated studios rooms with computer stations equipped with FCP and Premiere (ten edit suites in total), VHS recorders, projectors, DVD burners, etc. Bookable equipment is also available through the College’s Media Equipment Centre and further copying and transfer facilities are available in the Media Resource Centre in the Library (which also maintains edit suites).
