FAQs

What kind of technical support can I expect?

We offer a high level of equipment and instruction in its use sufficient to launch students as capable independent camera operators and editors. The teaching is geared to the needs of anthropologists on a postgraduate programme and the expectation is that students will, largely in their own time, refine their skills to self-nominated degrees. Those seeking training in intensive, broadcast industry practice should apply to an appropriate film school. Our emphasis is on anthropological filmmaking in a broad sense, intersecting with art worlds, diverse documentary practice and engaged with public culture as well as well as professional, anthropological concerns.
