The cinema of migration

Research interests

Twentieth century French and German philosophy, in particular the work of Heidegger, Levinas and Nancy. Questions of otherness and the concept of the world.   The intersections between philosophy and cinema, the notion of ‘evidence’ and the problem of ‘realism’.
