About Goldsmiths' websites
Goldsmiths' website currently* has four distinct areas:
- External site,
which includes information for prospective students, parents,
researchers, alumni, job seekers, media, businesses, the local
community and interest groups, government organisations, and other
educational establishments.
- Departmental sub-sites - for a list of academic and administrative departments, see Departments - for other internal departments not listed here, please see Gold.
- Internal site, called Gold - for current students and staff. Note, this is not an intranet,
i.e., the site is not restricted to campus use only but is publicly
accessible to those who want an insight into what it's like to study,
work and live at Goldsmiths.
- Teaching and learning - this area of Goldsmiths' Web site falls under the remit of the Learning Technology Officer. See the Centre for Excellence in Learning Technology (CELT) for further details.
*As part of the branding project a completely new website will be built for Goldsmiths during 2007/2008. It is hoped that the new website will become one site with additional navigational features and a single login portal, customised to the specific user.
