International students

If you are an international student and you're not studying an Erasmus+, Study Abroad or Pre-sessional programme then you make your application in the same way as Home/EU students. Visit our application page to find out more.

Study abroad and Erasmus +students

Accommodation is guaranteed for Study Abroad and Erasmus+ students as long as you submit your application by the deadline.

For students starting in September 2018, applications have now closed.

For students starting in January 2019, applications open on Tuesday 9 October and close on Tuesday 27 November 2018.

If you're just with us for a term then you'll usually be housed in Loring Hall. If you're studying for a full year then you can choose from our list of accommodation options.

Fees for Loring Hall for 2018-19 will vary depending on whether you're studying for one or two terms.

Varying rates depending on your length of stay: £180.50-£216.50.

The following colleges fund their students to attend Study Abroad programmes at Goldsmiths:

Students from these colleges do not need to pay a deposit or any accommodation fees for the duration of their study.

Pre-sessional students

You can now apply for accommodation using our online system. Please be aware that room allocations are dependent on current availability.

As a pre-sessional student, you're guaranteed a place in one of our halls. This will help you make friends and adjust to living away from home. Where you live, how long you stay for, and the price you pay will depend on the dates of your course:

Course dates: 11 June - 31 August 2018

Acommodation dates: 8 June to 16 September 2018
Deadline for applying: 18 May 2018
Price: Between £111 – £263 per week
Accommodation available: Batavia Mews, Chesterman House, Surrey House, Raymont Hall, Quantum Court, Chapter Lewisham, Town Hall Camberwell

Course dates: 11 June - 31 August 2018

Acommodation dates: 29 June to 16 September 2018
Deadline for applying: 8 June 2018
Price: Between £111 – £282 per week
Accommodation available: Batavia Mews, Chesterman House, McMillan Student Village, Surrey House, Raymont Hall, Quantum Court, Chapter Lewisham, Town Hall Camberwell

Course dates: 30 July - 31 August 2018

Acommodation dates: 27 July to 16 September 2018
Deadline for applying: 6 July 2018
Price: Between £111 – £282 per week
Accommodation available: Batavia Mews, Raymont Hall, Quantum Court, Chapter Lewisham, Town Hall Camberwell

After your pre-sessional course

If you're continuing to study with us after your pre-sessional course then you can apply for accommodation for the 2018-19 session from Tuesday 24 April 2018.

You may also want to consider private rental accommodation, home stay or university managed housing.
