Emma Gillespie (nee Henry) (BA French and German, 1991) has pursued a career in procurement that has spanned multiple transformation projects, infrastructure projects and collaboration across a diverse portfolio of sectors. Procurement provided Emma with the opportunity to use her language skills professionally and to live in the Middle East before settling in Australia with her family in 2010 where she is now the Procurement and Contract Manager for the Telethon Kids Institute.

Robert King (BSC Maths and Physics, 1984) took a one-year career break in his mid-20s to complete a full-time MBA at the Cranfield School of Management and emigrated to Australia in 1992. For the past 30 years, he has worked in retail financial services in the UK and Australia. He joined Bank Australia when it merged with Intech Credit Union, where he was the Chief Executive. Under his leadership, Intech was recognised by KPMG as Australia’s leading mutual ADI. He lives with his wife and three children in Sydney.
