New alumni

Article

As a new member of the alumni community, there are benefits specially designed to help you during this stage of your career.

If you would like to stay connected with Goldsmiths and access your member benefits, update your contact preferences.

Careers support and networking

Ongoing careers support

New alumni continue to have access to CareerSPACE and receive professional careers advice and resources for three years after they’ve left Goldsmiths. This is a free service offered by the Goldsmiths Careers Service. Find out more about the careers support available to you or login to CareerSPACE to search for jobs, register for a careers event or book an appointment with a Careers Consultant.

Access a world of contacts

Goldsmiths Connect puts you in touch with a global network of alumni. You can share your recent experience of being a student or ask alumni in established careers about landing their first role after Goldsmiths. Many new alumni relocate or return home after graduation so Goldsmiths Connect can help you meet local alumni and seek advice about your new city and job opportunities.

Lifelong learning

Library membership

Your Library membership is free for the first three years from your finishing date and entitles you to access the library 24/7, borrow up to four books at a time and use the guest Wi-Fi. To make it convenient, you can apply online in advance of collecting your library card. Find out more about how to access the Library.

Discounts on study

We offer up to a 30% alumni fee discount for those applying for taught Masters programmes and who have studied on one of our degree programmes including Study Abroad and LaSalle students.

You also receive a 15% discount on short courses (see individual courses for terms and conditions). Email alumni (@gold.ac.uk) for the discount code.

Reunions and events

Goldsmiths reunites with alumni in London, the UK and across the globe to celebrate our vibrant alumni community based all over the world. It includes Around the World in 7 Days, a series organised by local Alumni Ambassadors in cities across the globe.

Alumni are welcome to attend events on campus. Join fellow alumni at events on campus and near you.
