Deniz Unal is an artist, researcher and educator working predominantly with performance practices.

Deniz Unal is an artist, researcher and educator whose work explores the intersections of performance, pedagogy, and therapeutic practices. Deniz’s practice is informed by queer, decolonial, and feminist strategies as they pertain to questions of intimacy, desire and control. In addition to moving image and performance, she also works with installation, soft sculpture, and textiles.
