Event overview
Michael Rosen will be presenting awards to London pupils & staff; new publication on sale; exclusive film screening!
Please come to the launch of My Dreams, My World: The Gold Schools Anthology at Goldsmiths, University of London, St. James Hatcham, the Chapel, 4pm-6pm, Tuesday 18th October. This book is the product of a mentoring project which the PGCE English programme and Outreach Department ran with London schools during the summer term, with PhD, MA and PGCE English students helping KS4 students develop their creative writing.
There will be prize giving at 4pm when Michael Rosen will hand prizes to early comers (pupils/relevant staff) and then again at 5.30pm for those who can’t make it that early with another very important person to give out the prizes (TBA)!
There will also be regular screenings our exclusive video of the Creative Writing Mentoring Project on this day.
Anyone who attends can buy a discounted copy of the anthology which can also be bought here on Amazon.
Please RSVP Alice Spacey-Mageean (en203as@gold.ac.uk) by 6th October if you are intending to come.
