Event overview
MPhil/PhD focused seminars to provide valuable information and tips for PGR students.
The Graduate School has introduced a series of monthly seminars and
practical sessions foregrounding some key areas relevant to postgraduate
research students, both in the early stages and as they approach the latter
stages of their PhD careers. In particular we offer sessions on the
examination process including the PhD Viva and the Upgrade, drawing on
the experiences of recently successful PhD students; Intellectual Property
and the PhD thesis, and also dedicated discussions on Research Ethics and
practice. These seminars are usually scheduled to take place from 4.00pm-
5.00pm, on the first Monday of each month, during term time. Details of the
programme are available on the Virtual Graduate School on the VLE:

Coffee, tea and biscuits are served.
