Event overview

This event is open to alumni in the workplace, where we present the latest funding opportunities and support available, from training to consultancy.
This is a specially curated event, hosted by the Enterprise Office and Careers Service, that will focus on the latest funding opportunities and support services that are available to you, whether you are working in or running your own business. This event is open to all former students.
The evening begins with an introduction by Professor Mark d’Inverno, Pro-Warden (International), followed by an overview of funding schemes by the Enterprise Office and a talk by Careers Service about opportunities to work with students and recent graduates. You will find out about schemes such as the Santander Student Placement, the DEK Business Growth Programme and our newly designed Employer’s Guide.
We will then explore the benefits of employing graduates and students with two case studies. The first presented by Dave Ranyard, from Dream Reality Interactive, who has employed creative computing graduates from Goldsmiths. The keynote speaker, Professor Jonathan Freeman, will then speak about his company i2 Media Research and his experience of collaborations with businesses.
