Case study: LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore
Goldsmiths’ largest collaborative provision partnership is a validation partnership with LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore
We have been partnering with LASALLE since 2012 and the partnerships has grown from strength to strength, with over 1,400 students now studying on Goldsmiths’ validated programmes at LASALLE.
Goldsmiths validates undergraduate and taught postgraduate degree programmes across LASALLE’s three faculties of Design; Fine Art, Media and Creative Industries; and Performing Arts.
Academic Links from over half of Goldsmiths’ departments are involved in the LASALLE partnership: assuring the quality and standards of the awards made through the internal moderation processes and further supporting the partnership through involvement in collaborative learning, teaching and research activities across both LASALLE and Goldsmiths.
Over the past five years, Goldsmiths has engaged in approximately 30 collaborative activities annually to support the development of the partnership. These activities have ranged from facilitating learning and teaching conferences at LASALLE to delivering bespoke workshops at LASALLE and presenting joint research papers at international conferences. We have also regularly hosted LASALLE students and staff at Goldsmiths.
We are incredibly proud of our partnership with LASALLE and work hard to support the continued evolution and development of the partnership for the benefit of students and staff across both institutions.
