Student democracy
Student Democracy is a series of meetings where students can meet each other and members of staff to discuss issues that are important to them. These have focused on subjects like racism in computing and Reasonable Adjustments for study and assessments (RASA).

Computational Arts Show
Hacksmiths
Hacksmiths are a student run society focused on Tech at Goldsmiths.
Each year they run an extremely diverse and fun range of events. These include:
- Global Game Jam
- Anvil Hack (Creative Tech and Performance)
- Sex Tech Hack
- LoveLace events for female and non-binary students

Hackathon
Events
As well the teaching on your programme, we offer one-off events and lectures in interesting subjects to help you develop your knowledge. For example, we have run:
- Lockdown Lectures - during Covid-19 lockdown in the UK our lecturers delivered online talks
- Advanced Javascript Fireside Chats - develop your skills
- Alumni Evening – where final year students meet and network with our Alumni

Goldsmiths has agreements with universities around the world to support student exchange and can offer you the opportunity to study abroad. Our current partnerships.
