Edward's research centers around empathy and it's place in the mediation of meaning and knowledge in pedagogic, crowd and public contexts through designed systems. By focusing on the ability of a site, object or actor to receive, retain and rebroadcast narratives, histories and concepts his work seeks to define the ways in which communication might be embedded in situations that can be produced, reproduced and manufactured, with a specific focus on understandings of extended art, design and digital practices.
